4.5/5 I loved this book! In the last few Georgia Nicolson books, I felt like not a lot happened, but this one had some real plot! I'm unsure how I feel about Masimo currently, but I DO know that Georgia and Dave the Laugh NEED TO GET TOGETHER ASAP. Also, I need some more of Robbie, even though he's in another country and everything. I can't get enough of Georgia and her silly plans and I will be starting the next in the series right away!

These books never fail to cheer me up! In this installment the hunt for Italian Stallion continues. What number will you let him go up to on the first date?" "I thought These books never fail to cheer me up! In this installment the hunt for Italian Stallion continues. Then Rosie said, "Finally, as you haven't had any snogging practice for a while, try an experimental snog on the back of my leg." What??? Absolutely not, not a snowball's chance in hell. No and three times NO. 6:45 pm On my knees snogging the back of Rosie's leg whilst the ace gang watch me. Why am I doing this? Rosie was shouting instructions. "Yes, yes, that's good. Good. And breathe. Too much teeth!! Too much teeth!!! A bit more sucky. Flicky tongue and... finish." Good grief. Have you ever snogged the back of someone's leg? Someone who is one of your mates and is wearing a false beard? Well, I hope you never have to - that is all I am saying."

Not quite sure why I keep reading these books because the writing style is cringe and Georgia is an annoying self-centred git but I can't stop myselfffff

Georgia is so cringe-worthy. I spent 95% of the book silently yelling at her in my head to see some sense and: -Write back to Robbie. He was sweet and nice and you're being an asshole, Georgia. -Not bring so much shit with her to the States. You don't need it. -Stop being so embarrassing. I literally can't handle anymore weird excuses for the weird things she does. -GET TOGETHER WITH DAVE THE LAUGH. He's perfect for her and Masimo is probably going to break up with her anyway. Actual rating: 4.5 This series is so fun if you're in the right mood. I had to read a book that takes place in another country and the majority of this book takes place in England. This is number 6 in the series and I think it's my favorite one so far. For me, these are laugh out loud funny. I had to take off half a star because of the cliffhanger ending. Luckily I have the next one in the series. 2016 MacHalo Challenge: A book set in a different country

I love all the Georgia books. They make me laugh histarically, mostly because she does a lot of the things I woud do(like that). I can't wait to see what she does next. She left me on the edge of a cliff last book.

Ah Georgia -- hung out on the rack of love, leaving readers on the rack, too, with such a sticky cliffhanger. Masimo? Robbie? Dave? The whole boy spectrum is covered here. Onto the next....

Georgia apparently has no concept of American geography, because she thinks it'll be a cinch for her and Jas to hop on a Greyhound to see Masimo. She doesn't even know where he's staying and ends up calling all over Manhattan looking for him to no avail. The sex god Robbie is still in New Zealand, and now his brother Tom is with him. Jas and Georgia spend more time together as a result of their lack of boyfriends, but they get rather stroppy with each other alot. I suppose that's common for teenage girls. Robbie still thinks about Georgia and writes to her, but she never responds because she's hung up on Masimo, who unfortunately is hanging around Wet Lindsay. Dave the Laugh is still a constant in Georgia's life. He continues to give her advice on how to rope in Masimo. It's clear he still likes Georgia, even though he's dating someone else. Georgia starts to mature a bit in this book. Sure, she's still self-obsessed and makes the silliest jokes with her friends. But she starts to learn that it's helpful to listen to others. She seeks advice from Dave, Jas and even her mother when it comes to matters of the heart (aka, is Masimo her boyfriend or not). Lots of funny moments in this book, e.g., pet cat Gordy eating her false eyelashes and a horrific case of "shoe feet", make Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers another enjoyable adventure in the life of Georgia Nicolson.

I am really into this series at the moment, mostly because it's short, sweet and funny. Everything I like in a book. Although I really don't like reading about teen romance as I usually find it to childish, I like this one quite a lot. Georgia Nicolson is a girl with many problems that don't seem that awful to you but they are first-world-problems for her. I like this so much because I can relate with the character. I, too, was an overreacting mess that cared about every single thing in a world, before. I just love Masimo and I want her to be with him but I think I like Robbie a bit more so I'm hoping he comes back in the following books. I've been flying through this series and I'm scared what will happen when I reach the last book. I really want to read another teen/middle grade series such as this one so PLEASE RECOMMEND IT TO ME in the comments down below :)

Hamburger-a-gogo land and Molto, molto Masimo vs. Il Ministrone—need I say more? ;) The Miss Malaprop moments are priceless. Favorite line: Masimo: “Are you freddo…?” Georgia: “Oh dear God, he wasn’t going to talk about elves and hobbits, like boys did, was he?” The cat imagery in these books is excellent. You can tell that Rennison must have had a cat: “Angus got on my knee and started doing that kneading thing they do to make you all comfy. For them. I am like a human bean bag to him.”

My favourite quote from this book is: “What if you were really meant to be with someone? But you kept messing about and having the Horn and so on and you lost them.” I like this quote because I think it is very thoughtful unlike all the other crazy things Georgia says. I also like this quote because I find it very deep and emotional, but I think this happens quite a lot because people muck about with people and it isn’t till the person they love has gone that they realise they were the right person for them. 4. I didn’t really learn much from this book but what I did learn was that Georgia goes to great extent to find Masimo in America. 5. My favourite character from this book is Georgia Nicolson. Georgia is an outgoing, crazy, good humoured teenager who falls in love with Masimo who is an Italian-American ‘dreamboat’. Georgia, her family and her best friend Jas went to America for a clown-car-convention. While Georgia’s family were busy at the clown-car-convention Georgia and Jas decided that they would try and hunt Masimo down in America. Georgia is my favourite character because she always keeps you entertained with the crazy thoughts and ideas she has.

She has a family vacation to the States (Memphis, TN) with her family and Massimo himself is in America (NYC) around the same time frame. Georgia thinks the states are all a bus ride away in distance and thinks on her vacation she will find him and they will have a wonderful time together and fall madly in love, though to her dismay she didn't get to see him; though sadly I don't think she actually learned how far Mephis was from New York City. The stor is written in a nice sized sentences though with it written journal style you are never really sure where a chapter has begun or ended. Louise Rennison has a writing style that is very different from other's in my perspective, it is very repetitive with words and a lot of the words are English slang so the author (so kindly) added a glossary of all the slang so that readers could understand and learn some useless English slang. Though I love the addition it takes some reading time out by trying to look in the back of the book every few sentences to try figure out what Georgia is talking about.

I can connect to this book because when I was on a Criuse traveling around the world. We came across a Island that was schdueled for the trip. It was called Honduras. As me and my family was their we was searching for my ancestor which I don't know the name of but his/her last name was yisagiare. We did not find him/her but I learned how to ride a Moped. A gas scooter. I recommend this book to people who ever put their mind to something and didn't succed to it but still got something out of the expierence. It will show you that even though you failed in your plan, you will still learn from that journey. I'll give this book a 5 because it taught me that everything you plan to do, it won't always happen and turn out the way you planned. But you will still learn how to do something on your way to complete your plan.

Georgia is again wrestling with romantic troubles, and this time there are three contenders: Masimo, Robbie, and of course Dave the Laugh. She's disappointed to find that her trip to America takes her nowhere near where Masimo is, and she gets to have a great time with her embarrassing family. Her friends at home support her ridiculousness and go to great lengths to give her romantic advice. (And by the way, "boy entrancers" are fake eyelashes. She is talking about her cat eating them.) Picked up this book after taking a short break from the series. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went. The last book before this seemed to drag a bit for me, but that may have been because I needed a break. I think Georgia is finally coming into her own. The humor was a bit more mature in this one and I appreciated that. I've said before that I probably would have loved these book had they been around when I was 15, but I'm losing something reading them at nearly 40. Ultimately, not a lot happens in this story and nothing is truly resolved; it is just a weeks-long snapshot of the life of an English 16-year-old girl. The pleasure comes from Georgia's narrative voice and her highly idiosyncratic use of the Queen's English (if such it can be called). Think "Bertie Wooster as a modern teen-ager". The audiobook is read by the author, so I know what I heard was absolutely authentic in terms of what she wanted us to hear.

01 December, 2016 Meh. I am tired and crabby, Georgia Nicholson has made me go from a happy person to a mentally exhausted person in roughly 4 hours. Quite the accomplishment. This is meant to be a comedic novel, no? I laughed once. Georgia is a horrible little snob and I am at a loss as to how she actually has any friends.

Well in Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers by Louise Rennison you can have all the laughter and tons of drama you want. In this realistic fiction story you will hear about Georgia Nicolson’s drama she has with her friends and her enemies. In the story Georgia is left with the greatest news on earth (well for her at least), she’s going to Hamburger-a-gogo land (in other words, America)! She’s thinks in her head that for once her father had done the right thing in her life. But the catch was that they were going to America because her father wanted to see the car convention. They were going to Memphis, Tennessee. Since they live in England she’s really excited to go for spring vacation but sad that they were going to see a car convention. The real reason she’s dying with excited to go to America is because she likes the new Italian singer of a really popular band, Masimo. Masimo and she were friends and she found out that Masimo was going to Manhattan, New York in America to see his folks and right before he left he asked for her phone number when he bumped into her. She didn’t give it to him because she was too tired and red from working out. When she heard that he was going to America she felt sad because she wouldn’t be able to hang out with him and try to make him fall in love with her. When Georgia finally likes a guy she becomes insane. Georgia wanted Masimo and her to be together, but she had many problems in the way. So when Georgia heard she was going to America she decided to ask her parents if she can take her “bestest pally, “Jas because she was heartbroken that her boyfriend Tom was going to Kiwi-a-gogo land (New Zealand) for 6 months and of course he was coming back but she was just really sad. Miraculously both their parents said that Jas can go to America. Then when they got there Georgia the next day went to a store and asked to use the phone because she couldn’t use the phone in the hotel because all the call made had to go through her dad first. The employee gave her coins to use at the payphone and she called everyone in Manhattan with the last name Scarlotti because it was Masimo’s last name and she tried to track him down. Since there were a hundred people in Manhattan with the last name Scarlotti she decided to call a bus to go to Manhattan because she thought that Memphis and Manhattan were really close together. Soon she was back on a plane to England again and couldn’t track down Masimo. She was sad but later she had heard that Masimo was back and that he was going to perform at this place called “Late and Live”. She had called a meeting with the Ace gang (her friends) and decided to buy new shoes. She found the most gorgeous shoes ever but the only size they had was a size 4. She managed to squeeze her foot in the shoe and ended up buying them even if they were very painful to walk in. she and the Ace gang went and had a great time and Masimo ended up asking Georgia for her phone number again but she didn’t give him the number because she didn’t l=know whether or not to give it to him. She called a meeting in the bathrooms quickly because 1) She needed to take a seat because she needed a break with those size 4 shoes because they were making her feet swell up bad and 2) She needed to know if she should give Masimo her phone number or not. At the end of the meeting they all thought Georgia should give Masimo her number. When she went to give him her number she saw he already interlocked his arm with her worst enemy, Lindsey. She was devastated and thought he didn’t like her so she went home and went straight to bed heartbroken. She didn’t even take off her shoes because she was too sad, and her feet were so swollen she couldn’t take them off. The next day she tried to take them off but couldn’t, not even her mother. Her feet were so swollen she couldn’t even see her shoe straps. The doctor had to come round her house cut off her shoes from her feet. None of this was mentioned to her father they just told him she had the tummy bug. Surprisingly Masimo came to her house and asked her parents if he could take her out to dinner and her parents said yes. Finally the moment Georgia had waited for, dinner with Masimo. That day she was all dressed gorgeous and had a quick meeting with the Ace gang to see the dos and don’ts of her date. She had the best date ever and he actually liked her for her. She even got to kiss him! She felt like the happiest girl in the world and she got his phone number so she didn’t have to wait for his call. She later called him and he asked if she wanted to go with him, his gang, and Lindsey to this place he was going to. When she heard the word Lindsey she was confused! Did Masimo like her or not? She just put those thoughts aside and went to school. Since they were performing a play they had to rehearse with the Foxwoods boys because she was in an all girl’s school and the boys were all in an all boys’ school. She walked home that day with her friend Dave (Georgia and Dave had a relationship together one time but they decided to be friends) and he told her he still liked her. She was so confused with who she liked, her ex boyfriend Robbie, her exboyfriend and friend Dave, or the really cute and gorgeous Italian Masimo? She wanted to be in a relationship with Masimo but what would he say? What would he do? So at the end she got the courage that most girls don’t get and asked Masimo if he wanted to be her boyfriend. What he explained was that he needed a week to think! Who needs a week to think it’s whether you like her for her or you don’t. So confused and doesn’t know what to do, Georgia stays in her bed thinking and thinking with her cat Gordy eating her boy entrancers (other words her fake eyelashes). In the story I liked how the author made Georgia at the end of the story confused in who she likes. Now we can know who she really likes in her next story. I believe she is going to Masimo because she had been obsessing over him for months. Also I felt angry at the end because Masimo didn’t answer Georgia’s question. I know that he has to think about whether she’s right or not but the author could’ve given a few more pages to explain Masimo’s answer. I was really not surprised by the way Georgia acted in America because she is a very weird person. She was trying to be like an American but with her accent and her attitude she couldn’t do. She was surprised by the way the Americans acted. They acted really nice to her that she thought we weren’t the normal ones. My favorite part of the story was when Georgia tried to call from the hotel room phone the call went to her father because her father has that personality of trying to ruin something without intentionally doing it. Also I liked it because her father told her that he knew she was going to call her mates. I can related to her because when I want to do something and my mom can predict what I’m going to do, she prepares for it before I can even do it and she tries to put a stop to it. I give this story a 4 out of 5 because it has all the drama I want to hear and all the comedy I expect. But if I could I would add a bit more comedy to the story because it would be nice if the drama and the comedy were balanced out so that people won’t say “more drama” or “more comedy”. Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers by Louise Rennison is a very great fiction book leaving with questions that you will find out in the next book.

And then there's Georgia Nicolson! Very funny again. Plenty of LOLs and as always, it's the antics of Angus the Cat, his girlfriend Naomi and Gordon or "Gordy" who is son to Angus and Naomi who now lives with Georgia, Libby and their Mutti und Vatti. I love this series more than I should! #LouiseRennison #TheHeAteMyBoyEntrancers #LouiseRennisonTheHeAteMyBoyEntrancers #GeorgiaNicolson #GeorgiaNicolsonConfessions

I thought the first half of this one was okay - nothing really new or particularly interesting, but at least a change of scene to the USA allowed for some slightly different characters and events. However, I found the second half (which is pretty much exclusively about ensnaring Masimo) really, really stupid! It was so woolly and facile, I actually struggled to read it. I encountered a few specific disappointments as well. Robbie seems to have developed discernible feelings only so that Georgia can hurt them by not replying to his rather sweet letters from New Zealand, and I actually feel really sorry for him now and hate Georgia even more than ever! I was hoping Oscar would be naively amusing with his crush on Georgia, but now it seems he's just abusively crass, which I think is rather a lazy way to carry on with him. The whole "pants" thing is stunningly unworthy of Dave the Laugh - sadly but undeniably, he has dropped into a trough of silliness!

Masimo, the Italian-American lead singer of the Stiff Dylan's, is off to Hamburger-a-go-go-Land, aka America. So when Georgia learns that her family is taking a vacation to the clown car convention in Memphis, she thinks that a rendezvous with Masimo is inevitable. Little does she know that Memphis and Manhattan are nowhere near each other and her return to England is a let down because Tom comes back from Kiwi-a-gogo-land (New Zealand), though he does bring with him a picture of Robbie, the sex Masimo, the Italian-American lead singer of the Stiff Dylan's, is off to Hamburger-a-go-go-Land, aka America. Then, of course, there's Dave the Laugh, who may have just professed his love for Georgia. Where's her best friend when she needs her?
